What it can calculate

• A draft budget that matches dated bills to earlier paychecks.
• A spending estimate after the bills, essentials, and reserve you specify.
• A dated forecast showing the first potential cash shortfall.
• Snowball and avalanche debt estimates and extra-payment comparisons.

Example: “I have $100 before my $2,400 paycheck on November 6, another $2,400 on November 20, and $2,850 of bills and essentials before that second payday. Show the timing gap.” The draft should show a $350 gap before the second paycheck.

Connect your saved MyGood budget

Account tools use MyGood sign-in and a consent screen. They require an active Pro account and the permissions you authorize. You can view your budget and spending, manage categories and paycheck allocations, record or update expenses and income, reconcile, and review transactions from banks already connected in MyGood. Confirm the specific records before deleting them. Bank linking takes place in MyGood.

For a custom ChatGPT connection, use https://chatgpt.mygood.io/mcp with OAuth or no authentication. Calculators work immediately; account tools prompt you to connect when needed. Enter your MyGood password only on the MyGood sign-in page.

What information the calculators use

Only amounts, dates, short labels, and the debt rates and payment assumptions needed for your calculation. Use labels such as “Card A.” Do not include account numbers, bank credentials, Social Security numbers, or other identifiers.

Calculator inputs are used to return unsaved results. After you connect an account, account tools can retrieve saved data and persist the changes you request; those changes are recorded in MyGood's audit trail. ChatGPT processes the conversation and returned data under its own terms and settings. Hosting services can retain ordinary request metadata. Read our privacy policy.

What the result means

Results are estimates in USD. Forecasts assume a paycheck is available before bills on the same date. Debt projections use fixed APRs, monthly interest, fixed minimum-payment assumptions, and no new charges or fees. Check your statements and payment processing times before acting on a plan.

Calculators return estimates and do not save them automatically. Account tools save supported changes only after authentication and authorization. Recording an expense or received paycheck does not move money, pay a bill, or initiate a bank transfer.

Your existing Claude connection keeps its authenticated endpoint and account tools, and now also includes the same five planning calculators. Claude continues to require sign-in for its connection.
