At MyGood, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website (mygood.io) and related services.

4. AI Assistant Integration (Model Context Protocol)

MyGood offers an optional integration that lets you connect an AI assistant (such as Claude) to your budget using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This feature is available only to Pro subscribers and only after you explicitly authorize it.

  • Explicit, revocable consent: Connecting requires you to sign in and approve a consent screen using OAuth 2.0. No access is granted without your approval, and you can disconnect it at any time from your AI app or by contacting us.
  • What the assistant can access: with your authorization, the assistant can read your budget categories, paychecks, spending, and safe-to-spend figures, and — if you grant write access — create or update budget categories and budgeted amounts. It cannot access your password, payment-card details, or any connected bank credentials.
  • How data flows: the assistant communicates with MyGood through our MCP connector, which passes your requests to MyGood using a token tied to your account. The connector does not store or sell your budget data; that data is shared only with the AI application you choose to connect.
  • Third-party AI providers: when you use an AI assistant, the prompts you send and the budget data the assistant retrieves are processed by that provider (e.g., Anthropic) under their own privacy terms.
  • Audit trail: changes made through the integration are recorded so you have a record of what the assistant did on your behalf.

We protect your data using modern encryption and security practices.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, deletion, or correction of your data. Contact us at support@mygood.io.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and budget data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting support@mygood.io; we will delete your data except where we are required to keep certain records by law. Records of actions taken through the AI integration are kept alongside your budget data so you have an audit trail, and are removed when your data is deleted.

We may update this policy. Any changes will appear here with a new effective date.
